A deeply rooted understanding of musical tradition lends to the artist’s confidence and ability to develop a uniquely subtle sound that is engrained deeply in her music. Both as a vocalist and a composer, melding jazz, R&B, pop and other influences into a style all her own is the creative passion of the musician.
Jackson’s first EP, ‘Take Me Back’ allowed her to do just that, leading to it’s success followed by the JUNO-Award winning ‘With You.’ The highly respected Jackson worked in collaboration with fellow Toronto-based vocalist Jacqueline Teh.
Jackson has also worked with leading Canadian musicians, including Teh, guitarist Tom Fleming, pianist Chris Pruden, bassist Mark Godfrey and drummer Ian Wright. Jackson hopes to bring an insight into her current season of life with the release of “In The Meantime”.
