Brooklyn New York -- It had been hearsay and subsequently known selectively in both local and world wide church circles Pastor A.R. Bernard, Founder of Reportedly New York City's largest church Christian Cultural Center (CCC), had fallen ill to the deadly Coronavirus COVID-19.  Insiders for over 2 weeks and streaming in-house videos offered prayers for the infected Pastor Bernard.

A.R. Bernard is a fixture in the urban New York area religious scene.  He is known for his in depth and compassionate interpretation of the Bible and social ministry.

Pastor Bernard, is often highly sought out to counsel area politicians and is also on the boards of important economic development organizations in the NY Tri-state area.  He is both loved and respected by many Christians locally and globally.

So many people were concerned about his health.  In the Resurrection Sunday (AKA Easter) message 4/12/2020, he gave a harrowing account of his battle with the deadly disease.

Critical Update! By Pastor Conrad Bennette Tillard

To all my friends who support Biden, I just want you to consider a number of things.

1. Biden is now our only candidate left. Thus he is, baring any unforeseen circumstances, our (Democrat) Standard Bearer. I get that, in all likelihood I will vote for him and encourage others to.

2. I do not do politics emotionally, I haven't since 1984. I do not believe in politicians, I believe in God.

That being said I can make a choice between two wholly unimpressive candidates. But it's not me, a triple prime voter( I always vote) that we need to be concerned about.

It is the casual observers, the masses, the youth, etc. that have to be fired up. Biden now has to do that. I'm sorry but the arguments that many Biden enthusiast are making are not going to cut it.

He has to give people a reason to vote for him - and Trump is bad is not going to account for getting millions of voters out across 50 states.  Don't be an apologist for Biden, get in his cakes and make sure his campaign gives people a reason to vote for him - that only marginally has to do with Trump.  That is the only way he will close the enthusiasm gap, and get the numbers out that he needs.

It recently has been widely reported in major media like CNN, The New York Times, and many others outlets legendary innovative pioneer Earl Graves Sr., and Founder of Black Enterprise Magazine, has died at 85 years of age.  Reportedly he had a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Graves, according to a share on social media from his son Earl "Butch" Graves, Jr., died Monday.  According to PhillyTrib.com, Grave's son shared "At 9:22pm this evening, April 6, my Father and Hero Earl Graves Sr., the Founder of Black Enterprise, passed away quietly after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. I loved and admired this giant of a man, and am blessed to be his namesake. LOVE YOU DAD!"

Before the Black consumer market was considered a desirable consumer market Graves saw the need to teach Blacks to be successful business people.  Later in the development of his Black Enterprise magazine he also steered the editorial to include robust informative content on wealth creation.  He was the logical outgrowth of the Civil Rights Movement and Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King's concern to shift to economic empowerment in the Black community

Motown Magic Is a Great Upbeat Show To Watch With Family During The COVID-19 Virus

By nZinga Austin, Events Coordinator Scoop Publications

Motown Magic is created by Josh Wakely. My favorite character on that show is Ben Love because he is an artist just like me and he has this magic paint brush that he make the painting on the wall real and he goes in the wall and see's the painting.

The boy in the show also sings the Michael Jackson songs. That is why I also like this show so much.

So I think this show should have a third or fifth season and I also think Motown Magic should have a movie coming out called  Motown Magic The movie.

ENTREPRENEUR TRAINING BLACK WOMEN HOW TO PROFIT FROM PUBLIC SPEAKING DESPITE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Nationwide --  Quinn Conyers, a public speaking coach for entrepreneurs, is training Black women in business how to pivot to an online platform and continue profiting from public speaking during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the current reality of many speakers who've had speaking engagements canceled, and corporate training events postponed. However, Quinn says that speakers can still give their voice a platform on 'virtual' stages.

She comments, "Being able to pivot to an online platform may sound good, but how do you truly adjust? When you live, breathe, and are energized by the sight, sound, and taste of speaking in front of a LIVE audience, this can be a challenge."

Quinn shares the following three simple strategies that speakers can use during these turbulent times:

1. Master your Virtual Business Card.
As soon as you open your mouth, take potential clients from interested, to, invested in working with you. When shooting videos or going LIVE on social media, be clear, concise and compelling to cut through virtual noise so your client hears your voice. You do this with a Virtual Business Card, which intentionally tells potential clients what you do, who you do it for, and the result they can expect if they decide to work with you. Your goal should be to have virtual conversations that lead to cash.

2. Shoot pre-recorded videos and go LIVE on social media, standing up.
Because you are a Speaker, videos, and speaking LIVE on various social media platforms will serve your soul until it's time to step on a physical stage. Create video content while standing up so your virtual audience can have a similar experience as if you were standing on a stage in front of them. Standing, while hosting your LIVE's, will create an impact for your audience to experience the power of every word that comes out of your mouth. You may have been hosting LIVE's already, and perhaps not as consistent or intentional, because the physical stage was your bread and butter. NOW is the time to go LIVE, with the same consistency and intention as you do with your in-person events, (pick your platform, Facebook, Instagram, Linked, or YouTube) so that you can stay top of mind of potential clients and corporations who still need what you offer.

Nationwide --  PopCom, a leading automated retail technology company specializing in smart vending and kiosk solutions, has announced its second equity crowdfunding campaign on Start Engine. The company aims to grow its operations, build its sales team, reach more customers, and meet the demand for more automated retail machines in the wake of COVID-19, with their proprietary vending machine, the PopShop Kiosk.

"Although the timing is sensitive due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we must continue to look towards the future and build products for our customers," said Dawn Dickson, PopCom Founder & CEO. "While some industries are hurting, the requirement for social distancing validates the need for vending and retail automation.

We believe that the market will continue to move towards self-service and contactless retail. Vending machines and convenience services are becoming more essential, and retailers are looking for more ways to deliver their products direct to customer with less human friction. We are excited about what is to come."
