The Small Business Bootcamp for Women Celebrates its 8th Year Anniversary

November, 2019 - New York, NY – The Network for Women in Business is proud to announce the 8th Annual Small Business Boot Camp for Women taking place on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Radisson Hotel in New Rochelle, NY. Accomplished business women from across the United States will gather to learn new ways to market and promote their small business.

The theme for this year is “Audience from Scratch” and attendees will learn how to build, grow and convert leads for their business. They will also learn how to increase their visibility through podcasting and social media marketing.

The event will kick off with sessions that will show entrepreneurs how to keep their pipelines filled with quality leads and prospects. Cutting edge lead generation strategies will be taught and common myths about lead generation will be debunked.

Tanking in Sports -- and in Life; WHY?

Tanking -  In a broad sense - is a term used to describe when sports teams lose games on purpose to secure some sort of future competitive advantage. The idea is totally anathema to the competitiveness associated with being the last man or last team standing - all things being equal.

Two teams take to the arena equal in the number, guided by rules of the sports, buoyed by the fans that buy tickets, tailgate, throw beer, hurl expletives, and wave towls, all in the quest to win but no less to feel the competitive edge from the team of their choice.

From the sound of gun, the tip off, toss up, kickoff, coin flip, first pitch, or bell the chase for victory is part the thrill of competition. Before each season there is a plethora of pre-coaching, preseason competition, OTA’s, winter training and film work necessary for success, yet, it is a hard sell to accept how athletes - elite - compartmentalize when to compete and when not.

Kene Holliday was born in Harlem, NYC, raised in Amityville, has been writing, teaching, acting and performing on stages large and small for over 50 years and now leads the Moto Theatre Works

New York, New York – Famed Hollywood Actor Kene Holliday is inviting an audience in NYC to witness a rarity in Theatre with the birth of a new show depicting the Life of Miles Davis. Kene Holliday is known to most people for his role as Private Investigator Tyler Hudson on the Matlock Television series co-starring with Andy Griffith.

Kene holliday is inviting attendees to witness the birth of a new show. The show will be presented on October 29th 2019 at the Castillo Theatre located at 543 West 42nd Street, New York, NY 10035. The show will begin at 7:00 pm. Free Admission Reservations Required!
