Tamika Shari Bond, founder and CEO of Bond Containers, is the first-ever Black woman-owned self-sustainable container home manufacturing facility. This is in a bid to provide clients with homes that are strong, affordable, and self-sustainable.
It is common knowledge that there is a high demand for homes that are both safe and affordable. With issues such as the pandemic alongside other circumstances, this has only been a dream for some people. Bond Containers is however set to make this dream come true.
The construction company is set to build homes that are strong, affordable, and stylish. With Bond Containers, clients will be getting homes that are not only affordable but also features an off-grid backup system in the event of a natural disaster.

Mom, 6-Year Old Son Publish Black History Activity Book
Best-selling author, Andrea Stephenson, along with the help of her six-year-old son, Corban, has written her sixth book entitled Our-Story Black History for Kids: Scientists. The book has over 50 fun art projects, science experiments, and STEM DIY projects to help children and parents remember the scientific contributions of Black people.
Andrea believes that Black history is important because it instills pride and confidence in children. She experienced this as a 9-years old girl when her older brother and sister-in-law developed a program called Our Story 101. Its purpose was to teach kids Black history and the contributions of Africans to our world.
Andrea started exposing her son, Corban, who co-authored the book, to Black history lessons when he was just 3-years old. To make it fun, she used story-telling and hands-on activities such as games, art, and play to expose him to this information.
Corban’s enthusiasm encouraged her to share this information with other parents and children through this #1 new release book that is now available on Amazon.
