BLACK AUTHOR TO RELEASE 3RD INSTALLMENT IN BEST-SELLING, AWARD-WINNING PICTURE BOOK SERIES

African American author Sherrika Myers uses her past to inspire her books. She grew up stuttering and was constantly ridiculed by her peers, but now she works diligently with children who stutter, are bullied, have low self-esteem, and lack self-confidence. In her third book, Herbie’s New Friend, Herbie, the main character learns what true friendship looks like when Reggie, a new kid at school, stands up for Herbie after bullies ridicule him for his stutter.

Not only does Reggie stand up for him, but he also instills wisdom beyond his years—that everyone is created differently with talents that make you special in your own way. Equating Herbie’s stuttering with his own poor eyesight, Reggie convinces Herbie of the truth: that nothing is wrong with them, and they are perfectly unique as they are.

Is South Africa On The Margins Of Collapsing?

By THANDISIZWE MGUDLWA

PRESIDENT Cyril Ramaphosa, is the unluckiest president since the dawn of South Africa’s democracy in 1994, confided one ANC activist recently during a brief chat the other day.

Just less two years into the highest job in land, in March 2020 South Africa, like most nations across the globe, effected Covid-19 lockdowns, added the activist.

For sure, this global pandemic by far was unprecedented, in the last millennia or so.

More businesses collapsed, job loss went up, death rate; and a variety of other factors that negatively befell the human species during this period.  True to form, South Africa turns to get a lot of the media attention, quite a dramatic country others would say.

For-instance, South Africa recorded the highest number of Covid infections in Africa during the pandemic.  As reportedly the most unequal country on earth, South Africa, finds itself constantly on the news for mostly the wrong reasons.

Former NFL Player Solomon Wilcots Invests In The 1st Black-owned Stock Exchange
Dream Exchange

Dream Exchange is pleased to announce that former NFL star Solomon Wilcots has invested in the Dream Exchange. Wilcots joins a growing list of distinguished investors and supporters of Dream Exchange who believe in the value of increasing access for underrepresented groups in the public capital markets.

Wilcots is a highly sought after sports commentator who understands the obstacles that many people face working to reach their dreams. Wilcots began his football career as a free safety at the University of Colorado and reached his dream as an NFL player for the Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Minnesota Vikings.

He was motivated to join the Dream Exchange movement because he understands the need to expand opportunities for all people, not only in professional sports, entertainment, and music, but also in the business world.

Wilcots aligns with the Dream Exchange goals to help our nation create thriving businesses and to help foster job growth and build wealth for people in all communities. "Having access to capital is critical to achieving financial freedom and the Dream Exchange will represent a historic opportunity to provide that access and help build better communities," said Wilcots.
