New Artist DuBois Makes a Powerful Debut with Soulful Single “So Far Gone”
A
raw and emotional anthem, “So Far Gone” dives into themes of love,
loss, and self-discovery. Infused with elements of R&B, gospel, and
contemporary soul, the track is a reflection of DuBois’ music training,
education at Florida A&M University, and transformative life
experiences.
“This
track has lived in isolation with my collaborators and me for so long,”
shares DuBois. “I’m excited to finally release it and hope it speaks
life into someone else the way it has for me.”

Based in Atlanta, DuBois brings an honest and unfiltered voice to his music, inviting listeners into a space of emotional growth and healing.
With its haunting melodies and heartfelt lyrics, “So Far Gone” serves as a powerful introduction to a promising new talent.
The single also marks the first release from DuBois’ upcoming EP, Smile, You’re On Camera — an introspective project that challenges the masks we wear and encourages self-acceptance.
“A lot of us get caught up in being one specific thing or way to the public,” he says. “We rarely take time to treat the parts of ourselves that aren’t always favorable. I want my music to give people permission to acknowledge every part of who they are.”
