The poetry, just like Eddie, represents a diversity of styles and subject matter from humorous to thought provoking. The poems address many topics including love, nature, spirituality, and life spanning from age inquisitive 17 to now inquisitive 66.
In the book, Welch weaves bare visages praising a higher power, celebrates women and intertwines candidly, love, humor, mother-nature, and autobiographical life experiences.
As he remembers his brother, he boldly exposes naked emotions in supporting cancer survivors.
