After a very concerning and highly criticized debate performance with Donald Trump, a few weeks ago, President Joe Biden, decided not to seek reelection for another term as President, and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris - to become the Democratic Presidential nominee.  Since then the Presidential political landscape has become highly rebooted and reenergized!

VP Harris has become a cause célèbre", especially in democratic circles.  This is because many feel her candidacy and presumptive Presidential nominee position is more than just about her personal perspectives and proclivities on governing policy.

Many actually feel she embodies a transcendent bulwark against autocracy, fascism, with an urgent mission to save democracy from the threat of Donald Trump's ambitions.  This is because of the weaponizing of the Supreme Court to grant President immunity in a recent broad legal decision on his actions, in addition to the court getting rid of affirmative action in college admissions, and decisions like overturning Roe v. Wade.

President Biden's highly reporting polling numbers for his campaign was troubling to say the least as far as beating Donald Trump.  There were subtle and not so subtle calls for President Biden to suspend his campaign by party leaders, major donors, and many in the Democratic Party.

The major media was unwavering in its coverage of the questions around if President Joe Biden, could win the election due to his age and cognitive sharpness.  Although the President, and many of his supporters, where resolute in their determination to run for a 2nd term, the countless polls and pundits gloomy forecasts and major donor slippage made his campaign not viable and he honorably stepped aside for VP Harris.

Creators Danielle Dominique and Danielle Solomon Achieve Record-Breaking Success with 'Mind Your Business' on Bounce

Danielle Dominique and Danielle Solomon have achieved a groundbreaking milestone with their show "Mind Your Business" on Bounce.  Garnering over 2 million views during its debut weekend, the series has become the most-watched Bounce original show to date.

Despite the current industry trend favoring reboots and sequels, and with minimal paid promotion, "Mind Your Business" has captivated millions and continues to attract new fans weekly.

"Despite not having a major promotional roll-out compared to past Bounce originals, 'Mind Your Business' still reached millions of people and continues to gain new fans every week. Its success underscores the audience's desire for fresh, original ideas in a landscape dominated by reboots and sequels," said Danielle Solomon.

Solomon, who created the show at 27 and saw its premiere at 28, notes the significance of this achievement. "This is very uncommon in a post-strike industry, especially for Black women. Myself and Yvette Lee Bowser (Living Single) are the only two Black women to earn the coveted 'created by credit' for a broadcast network show at such a young age. Hopefully, 'Mind Your Business' will open the doors again for more younger women to do the same and we don't have to wait another 30+ years," she added.

Award-Winning Actress Kasia Trepagnier SHINES at the 30th Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans

The 30th Essence Festival of Culture, held from July 4 to July 7, 2024, was a spectacular celebration of Black culture, empowerment, and community.  On Saturday, July 6, award-winning actress Kasia Trepagnier made a memorable appearance, adding her star power and passion for advocacy to the event.

Trepagnier was seen engaging in lively conversations with fellow celebrities, including a notable interaction with actress Meagan Good.

This year's festival theme, "We Love Us," emphasized the importance of self-love, cultural pride, and unity among the Black community.

Kasia Trepagnier commented, "Attending the Essence Festival of Culture 2024 in New Orleans was an incredibly enriching experience. The energy, the unity, and the celebration of our culture were truly inspiring. It was an honor to connect with so many amazing individuals and witness firsthand the power of community and self-love embodied in the theme 'We Love Us.'
