Tera Carissa Hodges, an African American mom, life coach, and author has released her children’s book I Am: A Little One’s Guide to Affirmations this summer all over the country, and she is giving away 10,000 free hard copies to non-profit organizations that support children.
Her new book is a guide to help children shape positive images of themselves. This body of work is marked as Tera’s first installment in to what could become a long line of building kids confidence up, and planting a seed of pride and self-esteem.

This children’s affirmations guide expands Hodge’s line of self-empowerment products, which include multiple books and greeting cards currently available in Walgreens and CVS locations nationwide.

She encourages children to recognize their strengths, inner power and accept themselves for who they are. This quick read for children will aid them in embracing life’s journey with courage, love and peace.
