Award-Winning Actress Kasia Trepagnier SHINES at the 30th Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans

The 30th Essence Festival of Culture, held from July 4 to July 7, 2024, was a spectacular celebration of Black culture, empowerment, and community.  On Saturday, July 6, award-winning actress Kasia Trepagnier made a memorable appearance, adding her star power and passion for advocacy to the event.

Trepagnier was seen engaging in lively conversations with fellow celebrities, including a notable interaction with actress Meagan Good.

This year's festival theme, "We Love Us," emphasized the importance of self-love, cultural pride, and unity among the Black community.

Kasia Trepagnier commented, "Attending the Essence Festival of Culture 2024 in New Orleans was an incredibly enriching experience. The energy, the unity, and the celebration of our culture were truly inspiring. It was an honor to connect with so many amazing individuals and witness firsthand the power of community and self-love embodied in the theme 'We Love Us.' Kasia Trepagnier is an award-winning actress known for her electrifying performance as "Gabby" in the short story drama film "Mood." In the film, she takes on the formidable challenge of playing ten distinct personalities, bringing the experience of dissociative identity disorder, also known as multiple personality disorder, to life on the screen.

Her portrayal captures the complexity and struggles of individuals living with this condition, immersing audiences in a poignant narrative.

As “Mood” continues to shine with its prestigious and renowned film festival nominations, including the Palms Beach Film Festival, Black Film Fest ATL, Gulf Coast Film and Video Festival, Urban Mediamakers Film Festival, The Micheaux Film Festival, and the Denver Film Festival, among others, these laurels stand as a testament to the exceptional storytelling and extraordinary talent showcased in the film.

With a career encompassing over 40 plus roles, she continues to inspire and uplift through her artistry and advocacy, tackling diverse and challenging projects like "Emancipation," directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring actor Will Smith.
