Full of new insights attained through valuable lessons within their LDR journey, Shauna and Taurean share tips and examples of what helped groom their union into a lifelong partnership.

“We wanted to provide a valuable resource other LDR couples could pull from to use as a guide on how to sustain a successful LDR relationship, something we definitely wished we had during our time dating.”

According to numerous studies, Long Distance Relationships are more common than many realize. As reported by longdistancerelationships.net, about 14 to 15 million people consider themselves to be in an LDR. 3.75 million married couples are in one currently, and 75% of all engaged couples have been, at some point, in one as well. With the rise of internet dating services, LDR’s are becoming increasingly more common nationwide.

Under the umbrella of their publishing company, One Mic Publishing, the Curry’s achieve their goal of giving people valuable ways to take their relationship to the next level. Filled with vulnerable, real-life experiences and practical resolutions, “Surviving the Distance” is a great read for couples regardless of their current relationship status. You will appreciate their insight as they reveal what it took to create a strong foundation for their transition into marriage and creating a life together they truly love.
