Actor And Filmmaker Lewis T. Powell Visits Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta

(Nationwide) - Lewis T. Powell  recently kicked off his media tour in Atlanta.

The charismatic sought-after actor, director, and screenwriter shares about his journey in Hollywood, thoughts about Tyler Perry and award--winning passion project, Padlock Men.
Padlock Men, one of the most talked about blockbuster short films created as a television pilot teaser (available on Amazon Prime), is a fictional story about the historically secret band of vigilante civil rights soldiers known as padlock men and is set around actual events against the backdrop of the civil rights movement. The film is now being developed into a television mini-series after making the rounds at film festival circuits worldwide. Accolades garnered along the way include 27 official selections, 16 nominations and 7 wins and Oscar-qualifying screenings as well.
While in Atlanta, Powell stopped by Tyler Perry Studios. He says, "Tyler Perry is one of those rare breeds in Hollywood who is not only a genius in what he does, but a caring soul and man of God. Anyone who places God at the top of their priority list, they will always win and be blessed. Congrats, Tyler!"
Powell  is celebrating over 16 years as a working actor in Hollywood. He recently guest starred in NBC's popular hit series, Chicago Med. Lewis can also be seen sharing screen time with Halle Berry and Daniel Craig in the movie "Kings" (available on Netflix).
Lewis T. Powell is a respected actor-director-producer businessman-philanthropist who continues to set new goals for himself, while inspiring others along the way to be their very best. He was recently featured on the cover of Boss Mann Magazine.
