(HAMMOND, Louisiana) - June 2, 2023 - Petra College, a local proprietary school dedicated to educating students for vital medical careers in the community, is delighted to announce its first annual Fundraising Gala Ball.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the esteemed Chappapeela Sports Park.
Founded in 2014, Petra College has been committed to fulfilling its mission of providing students with the necessary skills and knowledge for in-demand medical professions. The college takes great pride in its ability to support both students and the local economy. Over the years, Petra College has graduated more than 400 students, boasting an impressive graduate employment rate of over 80%.
Recognizing the importance of continuous improvement, Petra College has identified several administrative initiatives that will further enhance the educational experience for its students. These initiatives include technological advancements, expanded curriculums, staff and student training programs, as well as increased scholarship opportunities.
To support these endeavors, Petra College has partnered with the Petra Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, allowing donors to receive tax deductions for their contributions.

In light of these objectives, Petra College cordially invites esteemed members of the community to participate as local sponsors for the first annual Fundraising Gala Ball. As an established business in the North Shore area, your support will play a crucial role in helping Petra College fulfill its mission of providing students with career-oriented education.
There are two sponsorship options available - deadline, Friday, July 24, 2023:
Table Sponsorship: You may purchase a table for 8 individuals at $800 or a half table for 4 individuals at $400. This provides an excellent opportunity to network with other community members and showcase your business's commitment to education.
General Donation: If you are unable to attend the Gala Ball but still wish to contribute, any donation will be greatly appreciated and tax-deductible.
