In celebration of International Women’s Day, transformational life coach Rosetta Thurman, Founder of Happy Black Woman®, is inviting Black women in Atlanta, Georgia, to attend a free interactive workshop designed to help them get unstuck and start living the life they really want.
The event, titled “Create Your Ideal Life: How to Get Unstuck & Start Living the Life You Really Want,” will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia, and is specifically designed for Black women who need some “me time” to reconnect with themselves, get clarity on their vision and develop a plan to achieve their dreams.
New Self-Help Book “Blame It on the Feel of Pain” About Detangling From Past Pain
Get ready for a transformational journey toward inner peace as indie author Max W. Miller’s new self-help release, Blame It On The Feel Of Pain, inspires readers in a witty, down-to-earth book. Truth and compassion are foretold, using poetic frames called ‘The Wises,’ and the help of opinionated little emojis bringing laughter and thought-provoking conclusions throughout.
The author encourages her readers, whom she also calls partners, to stop wrestling with the hard knocks of the past. She expresses how voluntarily walking back into time precedes trauma healing. Confronting lingering pains is a step toward strength and hope for the future. ‘Blame It’ delves into the author’s life experiences, bringing to life the importance of using Full Circle Moments to find resolutions.
Throughout Blame It On The Feel Of Pain, the reader grows to understand through a unique interpretation that what we are destined to become grows out of the years we’ve already traveled. Further, our future hinges on how we address the pains of the past. Other expressions focus on how desires in the present are carved out of having a clear vision that old, lingering strongholds must be defeated. A history of suffering is a prerequisite for becoming fed up enough to demand enjoyment now!

At a time when millions of Black women are carrying the weight of demanding careers, caregiving, community responsibilities, and the pressure to just keep pushing through, this International Women’s Day event offers something many rarely receive: the space to pause, reflect, and get back on track with their goals.
“Black women are often expected to be everything for everyone else, while putting their own desires on the back burner,” said Rosetta Thurman. “This workshop is an opportunity for women to come together in a safe, supportive environment to reclaim their dreams, collaborate with like-minded women, and start taking the actions necessary to create lives they truly love.”
This free 3-hour experience is for Black women who:
• Want clarity on their personal and professional goals and a detailed plan to achieve them
• Have a dream they’ve been putting on the back burner and are ready to make it happen
• Are in a life or career transition and feel unclear about what comes next
• Have accomplished a lot, but still feel unhappy, disconnected, or unfulfilled
• Have spent so much time pouring into everyone else that they’ve lost touch with themselves
• Crave positive conversations, sisterhood, and new friendships with like-minded Black women
During the workshop, attendees will learn:
• How to evaluate their lives in 8 key areas to identify exactly where and why they feel stuck
• The 4 hidden barriers that may be holding them back from living the life they truly want
• How to get clear on what they want now and build a roadmap for their ideal life
• The 5-step Happy Black Woman® Method to close the gap between where they are and where they want to be
• Plus, they’ll receive live Q&A and group coaching with Rosetta
In addition to personal development and goal-setting guidance, the workshop will also provide an opportunity for attendees to network with other ambitious, like-minded Black women.
Complimentary tickets include printed materials and light refreshments.
