Illinois’ First African American Woman-Owned Champagne Brand Commits to Social Impact

As a former wedding planner, Samantha Danielle Dockery understood the importance of a sparkling wine’s flavor profile in appealing to diverse palates during wedding celebrations. She recognized the need for thoughtfully curated sets designed specifically for such occasions, complete with intuitive features like personalization. This passion for love and celebration inspired her to create a brand that honors the journey, rituals, hard work, and joys of your love story. In May 2023, after earning her certification as a Master of Champagne in 2021, she proudly launched LOVELUVV™, a sparkling wine brand dedicated to celebrating life’s most joyous moments.

With the launch of LOVELUVV™, Samantha pledged that 10% of all profits would support programs aiding individuals and families impacted by domestic abuse. This was not just a business decision; it was a heartfelt commitment born from her life experiences. Her ambition transformed the act of enjoying a glass of champagne into an act of solidarity and support for survivors of domestic violence.

LOVELUVV™ Premier Cru Blanc de Blancs was the brand’s first offering and hails from the renowned Champagne region of France. Settings that embraced the brand became spaces of joy and togetherness, where friends and families celebrated life’s precious moments with each effervescent sip. Samantha knew that champagne was not just a drink—it was a conduit for celebration, a way to mark milestones, and, in her case, a tool to foster hope and positive change.

As she broke barriers and built bridges, Samantha highlighted the importance of representation in business. With every bottle sold, she aims to inspire others, particularly women of color, to pursue their dreams and make their mark in industries traditionally dominated by others.
LOVELUVV™ became not only a brand but a movement, reminding everyone that behind every bottle are stories of resilience and determination.

The brand soon unveiled its latest offerings: the LOVELUVV™ Prosecco Superiore DOCG and the LOVELUVV™ Prosecco RosĂ©, both designed to tantalize the taste buds and elevate every occasion. With bright notes of fresh green apples and delicate strawberry aromas, each sip was an invitation to celebrate love in its various forms.

With each triumph of LOVELUVV™, Samantha’s presence grows not just in the industry but also in the hearts of those she sought to uplift. Her story serves as a beacon of hope, a reminder that one individual’s dream can spark a movement of change, breaking boundaries and empowering others along the way.

As LOVELUVV™ continues to rewrite the narrative of celebration through social impact, Samantha Danielle Dockery stands proudly as a trailblazer, proving that when love is in the air, anything is possible. Cheers to a future where love, empowerment, and celebration go hand in hand—one glass of champagne at a time.
