At the prestigious Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles, California, the Beverly Hills/Hollywood Branch of the NAACP celebrated the 30th NAACP Theatre Awards on June 3rd, 2024, with a star-studded event hosted by the acclaimed Malika Blessing, renowned for her captivating performance in ALLBLK's "Wicked City."

The star-studded event marked a momentous occasion in honoring excellence in theatre within the Black community. Malika Blessing captivated the audience with her charm and grace, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.

The NAACP Theatre Awards recognized outstanding contributions to the world of theatre, with esteemed honorees including LA Mayor Karen Bass, Broadway star Norm Lewis, the multi-talented Stokley, BMF star Michole Briana White, and the dynamic Myles Frost, among others.

The NAACP Theatre Awards showcased the best of black excellence in theatre, with a lineup of esteemed honorees, guests and presenters, including Debbie Allen, Jonathan Majors, LisaRaye, Margaret Avery, and Kenny Lattimore, Tabitha Brown, Danny De Lloyd, among others.

Hailing from Oakland, California, Malika Blessing is a multifaceted actress and producer whose talent shines on both screen and stage. With a diverse range of credits to her name, Malika has made a lasting impression in the entertainment industry.

Malika's breakout role came with a guest appearance in the Tyler Perry-produced series "The Haves and the Have Nots," airing on OWN.

Currently, audiences can catch her captivating performance in ALLBLK's "Wicked City," as CADEN where she recently wrapped her 3rd season on the show and continues to showcase her versatility as an actress.

Beyond her on-screen presence, Malika's behind-the-scenes expertise is equally impressive. As a production manager, she ensures that projects run seamlessly, drawing on her extensive network of industry contacts to guarantee top-notch quality and value, regardless of budget constraints.

Throughout her career, Malika has had the privilege of collaborating with some of Hollywood's biggest names, both in front of and behind the camera. From working alongside luminaries such as Jackée and Loretta Devine to managing productions with industry veterans like Kenny Lattimore and Sheryl Lee Ralph, Malika's professionalism and dedication have earned her widespread acclaim.

Malika's talent extends to the stage as well, with standout performances in productions such as Don B. Welch’s "The Lost Souls Cafe" and the acclaimed stage production "Bachelorette Party."
