The financial pummeling of Kanye for his antisemitic remarks stirred many in the Black community to take a closer look at the historical Black and Jewish relationship. Among them was Kyrie Irving, NETS basketball star ( aka “shorty can boogie”) who caught an itch about the historical Hebrews and decided to scratch it. It prompted Kyrie to look up the meaning of his name. Kyrie’s search illuminated this Hebrew name translation: Elohim. Searching further on the Amazon platform Irving came across a documentary titled, “From Hebrews To Negroes.”
Pressed by reporters during a post-game interview to explain his rationale behind posting this documentary on his Twitter page, Irving quickly noted the N word had been used on Twitter over 500 times and there has not been one peep from the media. Irving swiftly distanced himself from the media’s attempt to concoct an antisemitic label. Additional searches on Google for this subject matter returned these findings: The Jewish Onslaught by Tony Martin; We The Black Jews by Dr. Yosef ben-Jochannan; Jews and Blacks by Cornel West; and the Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews by Minister Louis Farrakhan.
Moreover, there is a video interview circulating on Brighteon’s Sane Asylum platform about Blacks and Whites from different political spectrums discussing the book Jews Are The Problem by Ayo Kimathi. For some, these reference materials shed light on a dark historical past about a people erased from the pages of history. This erasure is courtesy of the racist American psyche.
Most Black people believe the statement Black Lives Matter (BLM) gave rise and a higher awareness to stop the wanton killings of Black people. For the most part, they have never correlated this slogan with inciting white hate groups. As a matter of fact, many other groups jumped on the band wagon to assuage their guilt: Blue Lives Matter; Gay Lives Matter, etc.
As everyone can attest, BLM has become a slogan beseeching, demanding and crying out for the unarmed killings of Black people to end. The mere fact Black people have had to continuously remind police, Ku Klux Klan, white America and the like, demonstrates over the years that this slogan evolved from a history of brutal enslavement subject to the aggregate American amnesia. From the “peculiar institution” to Jim Crow to the prison/industrial complex, Black people have coined these slogans to affirm their humanity: A MAN WAS HUNG TODAY or AIN’T I A WOMAN? A constant chorus sung by bewildered and beleaguered souls!
There are those who maintain it is sacrilegious to have to emblazon any garment with a declaration about the sanctity of human life! Unfortunately, that belief only resonates in people’s hopes, dreams and heartfelt aspirations.
WOW! The collaborative Black mindset have been racking their brains trying to figure out how Jewish people for the most part interpreted the White Lives Matter slogan on a T-shirt as subliminally suggestive of inciting white hate groups to act violently against them when Black people have been parading the BLM T-shirt across this nation oblivious to their impending doom?
Also, Black people are asking themselves WTF are they doing wearing a BLM T-shirt if these words translate into a clear and present danger? All this time they thought waving BLM signs and wearing this type of paraphernalia would change the narrative. Obviously NOT!
There are many in the Black Community who are now drawing this corollary: wearing a BLM T-shirt is like wearing a White Lives Matter T-shirt: a walking human billboard with a bullseye on the front and crosshairs on the back! Now who in their right goddamn mind would wear that T-shirt?
