Virtual baby showers have become the new norm, and this allows for parents to curate their baby must-haves all in one place while supporting a Black-owned business and allowing their loved ones to easily shop safely from the convenience of their home and not miss out on the experience. Simple as ABC, just create your registry and share your private link with friends and family. They will be able to shop from the list you created, and the company will deliver your gifts beautifully wrapped and even include a handwritten note if requested. Whether you are expecting your new bundle of joy, celebrating your little Darlyng's first birthday and even your kid's holiday list can all now be created on the registry!

When asked what this means for the brand, Tara, who is CEO of the company, said, “This idea was inspired with the increased support we’ve received in recent months from customers now wanting to support Black-owned businesses and seeing our Darlyng parents not being able to have their regular baby showers or received support during this time from loved ones. We are making it easier for them to not only shop black but have their families and friends able to safely still shop for them. Though there are tons of larger registries, what makes us different is our curation of diverse and unique products made by Black founders and even our corporate partners like Chase Bank are now supporting our initiative by partnering with us to gift their expecting clients.”

About

Darlyng & Co. was founded in 2014 with their first invention the Yummy Mitt Teething Mitten, which was inspired by the founders Carl & Tara Darnley then teething 2-month old daughter. Their product selection has grown to over 100 items including skincare, oral care, hair care, diaper bags, sippy cups, suction bowls, affirmation cards, apparel, and more. Products range in price from $3.99 to $99 making it affordable for parents to shop for unique items.

Continuing their commitment to giving back to the community and supporting other small businesses, you can expect to shop even more Black-owned kids brands on their gift registry in January 2021 as they prepare to partner with other brands in the juvenile space while also employing more people in their community.

Created to ensure that parents have access to non-toxic, eco-friendly, safe, and innovative products - all easily accessible on their website and the company also guarantees that orders will be shipped in 24 hours.
