Nationwide -- It’s important that people have heroes that they can relate to. This was part of the mission of Tiana & Nia Scott when they created Happy Monstah. It is an action-adventure multicultural manga! The project continues to move from success to success.

The best art and fiction inspires and empowers. That’s the spirit fueling sisters Tiana Scott and Nia Scott, and their brilliant creation Happy Monstah, which proudly features two Black girl leads. In exciting news, the Scotts recently celebrated the fact that the project will have a worldwide release by publishing giant Andrews McMeel Universal and marketed through Simon & Schuster, something that will give it every opportunity to touch as many lives as possible.

The excitement surrounding Happy Monstah is skyrocketing. Andrews McMeel Universal is most known for the Peanuts comics, Calvin and Hobbes, and a few comic to TV shows coming soon to Nickelodeon. The Scotts hope to turn this into an animated series in the future.

“This story is like capturing lightning in a bottle,” commented Happy Monstah editor Katie Gould. “It’s impossible for this not to be a big hit!”

The new publishing deal follows another breakthrough from the project. In the current environment, only 36% of crowdfunding campaigns are successful. Happy Monstah raised a remarkable $18,000 on its first Kickstarter, making sure it would come to life and demonstrating that there is a need for this storytelling and representation. Be sure to check out their animated trailer on their Kickstarter page and website.

The discussions online about the project is packed with positive energy.

A recent fan remarked, “It’s important great stories are told authentically, and there will be representation for everyone. I can’t wait to read this and feel empowered and shown. Full support!”

Happy Monstah features a whole world of interesting, multicultural characters that champion great causes. The manga is even backed up by a cool streetwear brand, created by Tiana and Nia Scott under the same name, Happy Monstah.

The catalog is growing fast with footwear recently added, all featuring the Happy Monstah family of characters on a new selection of cute Fall boots. The whole line can be checked out at the official Happy Monstah online store, stacked with quality photos showing the designs in all of their glory. In addition to the new boots, other highlights of the catalog include Happy Monstah t-shirts, sweaters, long sleeves, tanks, and accessories, all made to the highest quality.

Manga will be released next year!
