The historic case that is most notable is the case he won on July 19, 2014, in Florida against R.J. Reynolds in which the jury awarded his client a judgment for $23.6 billion dollars. To date, the judgment still stands as one of the largest in history.

The Family Legacy

The Gary family is full of talented individuals. Cathy Cash was fortunate enough to interview both legendary Willie Gary and his son, Attorney Sekou Gary, on the same show. Their incredible father and son bond was evident throughout the conversation. The mutual love and respect they displayed for each other was admirable and inspiring.

Attorney Sekou Gary has represented some of the most famous people in the world such as boxing world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. and mogul rapper 50 Cent. He is a partner at the Law Firm of Gary, Williams, Parenti, Watson, & Gary. He is licensed in various states and has practiced malpractice, entertainment, and personal injury cases.

Attorney Willie Gary and his son, Sekou, work together and are building a family dynasty in the legal arena. Their foundation, the Gary Foundation, has contributed to assisting with drug prevention and community development.

The Interview

The interview was very captivating. The two responded to all questions with humility and honesty. Attorney Willie Gary's stories of his relentless grind while starting his firm was riveting. His son, Attorney Sekou, told entertaining stories of his unique childhood among prominent celebrities such as superstar Michael Jackson and promoter Don King. His stories of studying and watching the genius of his father in the courtroom were filled with joyful inspiring memories.
