According to the CDC, 1 in 54 children will be diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by age 8 and it is estimated that there are hundreds of thousands of children currently waiting for an autism evaluation, with an average wait period of 27 months.

“Early diagnosis and intervention are key to treatment and better outcomes for children, giving them the best chance at developing to their full potential, so it was important for me to do my part to solve this issue by offering quality care to children regardless of location,” Eko says.

Kimberly Johnson from Oklahoma, struggled to find an autism evaluation for her 4-year-old son, Isaac. All three waitlists she put her son’s name on were longer than 15 months. After finding Dr. Eko and Glow Pediatrics, her son received his diagnosis within 10 days. “Parents need to know there are options out there and not to give up,” Johnson said. “That diagnosis is a big deal. It opens up so much for your child for resources to support their needs and gives parents a sense of direction. Also working with Glow and Dr. Eko, I now have a plan and understanding on how to best care for him, including diet, sleep, etc.”

Dr Hokehe Eko is a Board-certified Pediatrician with extensive experience in general practice as well as fellowship training in Integrative medicine. She is a published author and expert on Brain Health and has been featured on various media including NPR, Business Insider, and TEDx .
Families can go directly to Glow Pediatrics to schedule their first Autism or ADHD evaluation appointment with no referral needed.
