BLACK-OWNED BEAUTY ACADEMY PARTNERS WITH BEYONCE TO GIVE AWAY FIVE $10K SCHOLARSHIPS
Beaver Beauty Academy, a Black-owned cosmetology school in Atlanta, is partnering with Beyonce's Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund, which provides financial support to cosmetology students and professional stylists within the beauty industry. The founder, Dr. Melanie C. Beaver, says that she is proud to be selected as the cosmetology school scholarship partner for Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Beaver comments, "Fostering talent, promoting professionalism, and supporting entrepreneurship within the hair industry is deeply important to us. That's why we're partnering with the Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund, which celebrates the influence professional stylists have on hair health and the critical importance of advocating for the salon community."
