ENTREPRENEUR LAUNCHES EMPOWR BLACK NEWS APP TO CHANGE THE PERCEPTION OF AFRICAN AMERICANS

Nationwide -- Meet Adrian Le'Roy Devezin, founder of Empowr News, a news app built by Black engineers for a Black-owned nonprofit featuring only Black news publishers.

Adrian comments, "To control our perception in the media, we as a people must support Black publishers. While there are few similar news apps out there, none make it simple to support only Black-owned publishers. Until we can own media, we cannot control our perception by the media."
