Johnnie Walton, CIAA Football All-Conference Quarterback 1968: NFL, CFL, WFL, NFL, USFL African American Quarterback, 1969-1984 Professional Football Player, and ECSU Vikings Teammate Charles L. Singleton, Running Back and Receiver, CIAA Football All-Conference 1966-67: professional and semi- professional football affiliations were the1968 Westchester Bulls of the Atlantic Coast Football League (ACFL- New York Giants NFL). Singleton played semi-professionally with Brooklyn, New York's Golden Knights (1968;1971), and attended successful tryouts in Atlanta, GA with the upstarting Birmingham Americans of the World Football League (WFL: 1973).
