Black Mom of 7 to Honor Parents and Childcare Providers at Annual Conference & Award Ceremonys

In today’s fast-paced world, few professions carry as much responsibility and impact as those dedicated to raising and educating children. On October 18, 2025, Dr. DeShonda Jennings — affectionately known as “Mother 7” for being a proud mother of seven — will once again bring together parents, childcare providers, and community leaders for the Childcare & Family Legacy Conference & Award Ceremony at the Four Points by Sheraton in Richmond, Virginia.

This annual event is designed to celebrate, educate, and honor the individuals who devote their lives to caring for and shaping the next generation. But it’s more than an event; it is a movement dedicated to recognizing the often-unsung heroes of childcare and family services. Attendees can expect a day filled with powerful workshops, networking opportunities, and a prestigious awards ceremony.
