MEET THE FOUNDER OF THE NEWEST BLACK-OWNED BEAUTY SUPPLY COMPANY THAT IS REDEFINING INDUSTRY STANDARDS

Arlington, TX --  BPolished Beauty Supply, an Arlington, Texas-based beauty supplies platform and brick-and-mortar-shop that covers everything from conditioner and shampoo to protective style items such as wigs, crochet hair, and hair braids, continues to redefine industry standards as a leading Black-owned business today.

Despite the adversity and lack of Black female representation in the beauty industry, Frankesha Watkins, founder and owner of the company, is determined to demonstrate what is possible with hard work, commitment to diversity, and savvy business acumen.

"Black women are the largest consumer of beauty products and dominate the industry in regards to dollars being spent. However, we have the least amount of ownership.

In addition for years the market has been flooded with products that have not been suitable for women of color," says Frankesha. "We deserve to have ownership in this industry and access to that same quality of beauty products, which is why I am so excited to be offering the best products right through my new beauty supply store and accompanying platform."
